During their stay in Seychelles, Minister St. Ange, their Minister in charge of Tourism and Culture, also met them in groups and then individually. Sherin Naiken, CEO of the Tourism Board, was also present at the group meeting and individual meetings; Anne Lafortune, the PS for Tourism; and Nathalie Didon, Deputy Director General of the Tourist Office.
“It was a good opportunity to dedicate quality time to each of our overseas offices. We must always hear their point of view as we plan the way forward for the commercialization of Seychelles. They are our men and women on the ground, and their knowledge of the respective source markets remains important in our own planning, ”said Minister St. Ange. Last year, Seychelles recorded an exceptional performance in terms of the number of visitor arrivals, and this year the Ministry of Tourism and Culture is focusing a lot on tourism performance. “We are and remain the enablers of our trade with the private sector, and we remain open to anyone, big or small, to work with them to help increase the performance of our tourism industry. We know this remains something that the private sector can change as it is, and remain the commercial side of our industry, but we believe that we must continue to be by their side to facilitate and resolve the challenges they face. as much as possible, ”declared Minister Alain St. Ange, who took advantage of the meetings with the managers of the Tourist Office to thank them all for their hard work.
